Jumping into Substack
Like any writer, I'm hoping to find an outlet and an audience for my writing efforts. Substack looks like a good fit. Saticasm will be the name of my publication. I most often write briefly, trying to say what I want quickly and to the point. I prefer not to get too wordy, and stick to commentary, short stories, cartoons, doctored photos and memes. Saticasm will be mostly family friendly, but pieces that are not will have warnings attached so that people with sensitivities can avoid them.
I spent 30 years in the printing industry BC (before computers) in production, as press operator, also in copywriting and editing.
I was a contributor for ten years to Communities Digital News (CDN), online aggregator, as columnist, commentator and cartoonist.
I am the author of "Pithanthropy: The Human Conditioner" (2011) a collection of commentary, humorous photos and cartoons. https://www.amazon.com/Pithanthropy-Human-Conditioner-Jim-Bozeman/dp/1461036267 and
"The Generic Breadmaker Booklet" (2010) self-produced for online sales.
I have been a guitarist/singer/songwriter for 40+ years. Most notable song: "The Sadness of Mary" performed by Ron Hipp and Carol Statella.
